BACKGROUND:
Woodville was the first settlement in Tulare County and is located between present day Tipton and Porterville. It is a rural town consisting of 4.3 square miles of land with a population of 1,740. Woodville was the county seat from 1852-1854 when a vote was held to relocate the county seat to Visalia.
Woodville Park is located on Avenue 168 on the west side of town. It is equipped with one arbor, one restroom, one playground, one soccer/baseball field, and a basketball court.
